ICC-ES Certifies Plumbing Products to the Latest Official Mexican Standards

ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), the international industry experts in plumbing product certification, have updated their scope of accreditation to include the revised standard NOM-002-CONAGUA-2021 for Appliances and Accessories for Sanitary Use. In-demand plumbing products such as flushometers, toilets, and fill and flush valves for toilets and urinals can now be certified to this mandatory standard.

ICC-ES received accreditation in 2017 by entidad mexicana de acreditación a.c. (ema) and was recognized by CONAGUA to certify plumbing products to Official Mexican Standards (NOMs) and Mexican Standards (NMXs) and is proud to continue offering certification for the Mexican plumbing products market.

“As residential and commercial development expands in Mexico, ICC-ES is dedicated to helping manufacturers gain the confidence of local code officials to enter these new plumbing products markets. We’re dedicated to helping manufacturers stay up-to-date with changing standards,” says Dawn LaFleur-Qualley, Vice President, ICC-ES PMG.
