Early Bird Registration Is Available for the 2024 Hot Water & Hot Air Forums

ACEEE’s Hot Water Forum (HWF) on March 12–13 in Atlanta is the premier technical conference dedicated to the topic of efficiently producing, distributing, using, and reusing hot water. Since its inception in 2008, this two-day conference has brought together seasoned experts and newcomers to exchange knowledge, foster innovation, and help drive market transformation.

In addition, ACEEE presents the second Hot Air Forum (HAF), focusing on decarbonizing space heating in buildings of all kinds through heat pumps and increased efficiency. Both conferences will explore how these industries can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve grid resilience, and center equity.

The Hot Water Forum and Hot Air Forum will take on the industry’s most pressing issues. Attendees will take a deep dive into policies and programs that serve environmental justice communities, advance workforce development, address the climate crisis, and shape building codes. In more than 40 interactive sessions, participants will explore the latest in technologies, including heat pumps and heat pump water heaters as well as dual fuel systems, and hot topics such as multifamily design, sizing, and selection and smart grid demand response/load shifting.

Two plenary sessions will bring these topics together by considering the broader impacts of space conditioning and water heating in buildings, as well as opportunities and barriers related to decarbonization. Hot Water Forum and Hot Air Forum speakers will represent multiple perspectives including federal, state, and local government, the manufacturing sector, and the space-conditioning and water-heating workforce.
