PHCP Pros recently revamped its “Millennials on the Move” honorary listing, to which several ASPE members had been named over the years, to create the “Generation PHCP” feature to spotlight those aged 40 and younger who are making a mark in plumbing, heating, cooling, and piping. We are pleased to announce that ASPE member Amanda Jost was honored for 2023.
Central Ohio Chapter member Amanda Jost is an Area Sales Manager for NIBCO in Elhark, Indiana. She joined ASPE in 2021 and is the Women of ASPE (WOA) Liaison for her Chapter. According to the PHCP Pros feature, her role at NIBCO is to manage customer relationships and drive sales in her territory, which consists of the Ohio and West Virginia markets. She builds and maintains relationships with distributors, contractors, and engineers to generate demand for NIBCO products.
When Amanda was a senior at Ball State University, she competed in a sales competition sponsored by NIBCO and realized she would enjoy working for the organization. Her father is also in the PHCP industry and encouraged her in her career choice.
Career highlights include supplying materials for large-scale projects such as hospitals, schools, and hotels, which have been the most fulfilling experiences. Also, she finds it incredibly rewarding to build longstanding relationships with customers.
