At its 91st Annual General Meeting in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) inducted its 2023–2024 Board of Directors.

According to CIPH:

“Attaining 90 years of continuous association status is no simple task. As business leaders we know how much can change in such a short period of time, let alone having the longevity to withstand the variations of an industry that occur over that long a span. In this 90th CIPH anniversary year, I would like to acknowledge the foresight and vision of those pioneering leaders that started us on the path to what is CIPH 2023!  Those visionary leaders of 1933 would be proud of this wonderful organization and how we have influenced the future along this rock-solid journey, and here we are 90 years later still realizing those important values.

“CIPH had relevance when it was created and continues to have great relevance today. Our board volunteers and committee members across Canada are asked to bring engaged participation and effort towards meeting not only current industry challenges on behalf of the membership but also accept the responsibility to anticipate the challenges of the future and provide a vision for successful paths moving forward. I sincerely invite the many talented people in the industry to consider getting involved.

“Let’s honor the past which has led us here today and work together on creating the vision to continue to embrace a strong future. On behalf of the CIPH Board, thank you for your ongoing support of CIPH—your industry association.

“Our association CIPH has played and continues to play a vital role along our journey by providing safe, clean drinking water and heating comfort while ensuring the highest of standards for consumer safety. And we all should be proud of this.”
