WateReuse Association Releases Technical Program for Annual WateReuse Symposium

The WateReuse Association has published its detailed schedule for the 37th Annual WateReuse Symposium on March 6–9 in San Antonio and on the WateReuse virtual conference platform. Technical sessions cover every aspect of water recycling, from effective pathogen removal to regulatory hurdles to equitable community expansions and beyond. Nearly 70 hours of specialized technical content are available from which to pick. Specialized tracks allow participants to focus on planning, engineering, chemical treatment, policy, funding public outreach, and more.

The Honorable Tanya Trujillo, Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the U.S. Department of Interior, will deliver a keynote address at the Symposium. Tanya oversees the U.S. Geological Survey and Bureau of Reclamation and leads the Interior Department’s efforts to address the country’s worsening drought conditions. “From managing the Western water crisis to guiding the Department’s robust research efforts,” says U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, “Tanya’s leadership will be key to ensuring sound scientific integrity supports the work to advance Interior’s mission to protect our lands and waters for generations to come.”
