SFPE Seeks Public Comments on Its Engineering Guide to Fire Safety for Very Tall Buildings

The SFPE Tall Building Task Group is accepting comments on the revised 1st Draft of the Engineering Guide to Fire Safety for Very Tall Buildings, 2nd Edition. The purpose of this guide is to identify the unique fire safety challenges related to very tall buildings and provide the professionals engaged in the design of these buildings with information on the topics that affect the performance of very tall buildings and their occupants during a fire. This guide addresses these topics as part of the overall building design process using performance-based fire protection engineering concepts.
