Omega Flex Inc. is excited to announce that Revit BIM (building information modeling) models and specifications for TracPipe® CounterStrike® piping, MediTrac® CMT, and DoubleTrac® piping are now available on ARCAT.com. These tools assist designers and architects in creating precise system designs and blueprints, resulting in better construction.
ARCAT® houses more than 70 Omega Flex models based on various pipe and fitting sizes available along with specifications for each product line.
TracPipe® CounterStrike®: Flexible gas piping system that features a single robust protective jacket over non-annealed CSST for natural gas and propane installations in residential and commercial applications. TracPipe PS-II is a flexible polyethlene-presleeved corrugated stainless steel tubing system for underground, rooftop, or exterior wall applications. It may be installed under buildings, slabs and driveways.
MediTrac® CMT: Corrugated Medical Tubing is used for the distribution of all positive pressure medical gases, surgical vacuum, and WAGD. MediTrac® CMT is corrugated copper alloy tubing with axial swaged, sealed, quick-assembly brass fittings and is utilized in hospitals, ambulatory care centers, dental, veterinary clinics, laboratories, and any facility that uses medical gas.
DoubleTrac®: An environmentally friendly petroleum piping system for aboveground and underground applications including backup generators, gas stations, aviation, and marinas. With an innovative double-wall design, the interstitial space between the layers provides continuous monitoring for leak detection, making it the industry’s most effective zero-permeation piping solution.
Using BIM technology to streamline the design and construction process and create, document, and engineer building systems allows MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) project teams to make better design decisions sooner.
