The check was presented to the foundation during the AHR Expo in Las Vegas on February 3, 2026, by Navien CEO TH Kim and COO Darren Sheehan.
Established to assist with the recruitment and competency of future heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) technicians, the AHRI Rees Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to qualified students enrolled in institutionally accredited schools. The foundation plays a critical role in addressing the growing demand for skilled HVACR professionals by helping students access education and training opportunities.
