CIPH 90th Anniversary Annual Business ConferenceMore than 300 delegates and companions from across Canada and the United States will meet to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) during their Annual Business Conference at the Delta, St. John’s in St. John’s, Newfoundland from June 18–20.

Senior executives of the manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and associates of plumbing and heating products will gather to discuss the CIPH 90th Anniversary conference theme “Rock Solid After 90 Years” as it relates to their industry, their personal lives, and ultimately to Canada as a whole.

The keynote speaker will be Mary Walsh, best known for her multi-Gemini-award-winning work on This Hour Has 22 Minutes—CBC’s wildly popular take on current affairs. “Mary’s character, Mrs. Eulalia will burst on the scene to celebrate the innovations and advancements made by the plumbing and heating industry professionals, who remain ‘Rock Solid after 90 Years,'” reports CIPH Chair of the Board Matt Robinson (Robinson Supply).

Other scheduled speakers will include the founding Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto, Janice Gross Stein, Canadian Olympic Gold Curling Champion Brad Gushue, and First Nations Ojibwe and French Canadian Jennifer Ménard-Shand addressing truth and reconciliation, wonderful rock-solid stories of Newfoundland by Mark McCarthy, and government relations expert, Rob LeForte, who will provide key initiatives by CIPH as they tackle climate change strategies with federal government.

CIPH estimates that this conference will contribute more than $400,000 to the local economy.
