Judd Larned Takes Office as Water Quality Association President

Judd LarnedThe Water Quality Association’s president for 2024–25 is Judd Larned, President of Culligan Water North America. Larned succeeded Atlantic Filter Corporation Vice President Amanda Moore, CWS, during the 2024 WQA Convention & Exposition last month.

“WQA represents a dynamic, growing industry that helps millions of people access better water,” Larned said. “I look forward to collaborating with industry peers and fellow WQA members as we advance our commitment to consumers.”

Larned is an industry leader with feet planted in both the manufacturing and dealership sectors. Under his leadership, WQA is entering a new strategic planning phase and will refine the association’s main goals:

  1. Advancing knowledge and professionalism of industry participants
  2. Increasing advocacy
  3. Driving public awareness and knowledge

He discussed his objectives for his presidency in more detail in an interview available online.

Larned has been president of Culligan’s North American business since 2015, leading product  development, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of Culligan products in collaboration with the Culligan Dealer network.

He earned an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has served on the WQA Board of Directors since 2019.

WQA has a 24-member Board of Directors. Eight directors, including Larned, serve as the Board of Governors.
