IAPMO is adding a day of training at its 91st annual Education and Business Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 13-17 2020. This additional day will be an “Industry Day” dedicated to presentations from individuals and organizations from the various sectors of the plumbing and mechanical industry. IAPMO is seeking presentations for Industry Day from experts on topical issues regarding:- New and updated standards
- Innovative plumbing products*
- Sustainability
- Industry research
- Emerging trends
- Industry-related software
*Presentations on plumbing products should be general and discuss types of products rather than focusing on or trying to sell specific products produced by specific manufacturers.
The IAPMO conference is a great opportunity for inspectors, designers, and installers to increase their knowledge and understanding of the codes, standards, new technology, and innovative installations. In addition to all of the professional development opportunities, attendees are able to expand their professional networks and stay up to date on current trends in the industry.
The time allotted for each presentation will be 45 minutes. Presentations should be educational in nature and should not be intended to sell a product or service. If selected, a photo of the presenter will be requested for use in marketing materials developed to promote the conference and presentation.
