FGI Announces New E-Commerce Site and Digital Licensing Platform for the 2022 Guidelines

The Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) announces the pending launch of a dedicated e-commerce site and digital licensing platform for the 2022 Guidelines for Design and Construction documents. The e-commerce site and digital licensing platform will be hosted directly at fgiguidelines.org, allowing users of the Guidelines to access all FGI content from one location.

“The new FGI commerce-enabled site will provide a user-friendly checkout process for paperbacks and digital offerings, and the digital licensing platform will deliver a new suite of tools to increase productivity in a functional, streamlined experience for companies and individuals who frequently use the Guidelines documents,” says Chief Executive Officer Douglas S. Erickson. “Subscribers will find the Guidelines content easy to access and search, whether doing so in the field, at home, or in the office.”

Subscribers will be able to highlight and annotate their licensed content, bookmark favorite sections, and find helpful information on published errata, formal interpretations, and application guidance on the Guidelines directly at the associated sections. Single- and multiple-user licenses will be available, and bundling discounts for paperbacks and multiple-user licenses will be automatically applied in the cart.

Subscribers to the 2018 edition and previous editions of the Guidelines documents will be able to renew their subscriptions on MADCAD through June 30, 2022. MADCAD will continue servicing subscriptions through June 30, 2023.

The planned release date of the 2022 Guidelines for Design and Construction documents has been delayed due to printer-side supply chain issues. At this time, FGI anticipates both the digital licenses and paperbacks will be available for purchase in April.
