It’s that special time of year that promotes the festive spirit of family, giving, sharing, and reflection. Region 2 Chapters have been sharing this festive spirit with their members and guests across the Great Lakes area with holiday socials and contributions to local organizations that assist those in need. This spirit of fellowship, giving, and sharing really represents what ASPE and our membership are all about. I am truly blessed and proud to be part of this Society and to have the opportunity to serve.
Time goes by so quickly, but this is the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and recharge. It is a time to embrace family and friends and develop goals for a new and better year to come. We can also restart with hope and expectations of new experiences and challenges.
New Satellite!
Please help me welcome a new “Kentucky Bluegrass” Satellite Chapter to Region 2, which encompasses the cities of Louisville and Lexington. The Chapter starts out with more than 20 members and expectations to expand. ASPE looks forward to their participation and contributions toward the growth of this Society. Special recognition and thanks go to the Southwestern Ohio Chapter and their leadership for sponsoring and promoting this new Satellite Chapter.
We had a great year in Region 2, from the Region Meeting in Pittsburgh to the successful Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. The Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and Central Indiana Chapters did an outstanding job supporting and hosting these events. I look forward to the New Year with all of the forthcoming opportunities and challenges.
