ASHRAE recognized the contributions of members to the Society and the built environment industry during an Honors and Awards program at the 2023 Annual Conference in Tampa, and we are pleased to announce that Washington, D.C. Chapter member Ben Crowley, PE, CPD, was recognized with a Distinguished Service Award. ASHRAE’s Distinguished Service Award salutes members of any grade who have served ASHRAE faithfully and with distinction and who have given freely of their time and talent in chapter, regional, and national activities.
Ben is the Mechanical Engineering Department Head for E.K. Fox & Associates Ltd. in Chantilly, Virginia. He originally joined ASPE in 1993 and earned the Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) credential from ASPE in 2015. He also is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia.
