ASPE Member Peter Cartwright, PE, Receives Prestigious WQA Award

The Water Quality Association honored 16 award winners in early April during its Virtual Annual Meeting, an online event held in the wake of the canceled 2020 WQA Convention and Exposition. The prestigious WQA Hall of Fame award is the highest honor bestowed upon a WQA member, and recipients are recognized for their lifetime dedication and service to the water quality improvement industry and the association. For 2020, the Hall of Fame award was bestowed on ASPE member Peter S. Cartwright, PE, MWS, of Cartwright Consulting in Minneapolis, an engineering consulting company he founded in 1980.

Peter has been a Full member of ASPE since 2009 and is a member of ASPE’s Minnesota Chapter. He has presented technical sessions at ASPE Conventions and Tech Symposiums and has contributed his vast expertise to ASPE handbooks. Peter also is a longtime member of WQA and has served on several WQA committees and task forces and has presented at WQA conferences and conventions for many years. He is a previous recipient of both the WQA Award of Merit (2001) and Lifetime Member Award (2011).

Peter holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a Registered Professional Engineer in that state.

Congratulations Peter!
