Each year ASPE awards up to $3,000 in scholarship monies to qualified students through the Alfred Steele Scholarship. This scholarship is named in honor of Alfred Steele, PE, a long-time member of ASPE and a visionary and pioneer in advocating education and professional development for plumbing engineers and designers.
To be eligible, a student must:
- Be an ASPE member or the spouse or child of an ASPE member
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be in or plan to attend a college, university, or technical school on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Be enrolled in an engineering program
