Each year, ASPE awards up to $3,000 in scholarship monies to help upcoming industry professionals earn their degrees. The scholarship is named in honor of Alfred Steele, PE, a long-time member of ASPE and a pioneer in advocating education and professional development for plumbing engineers and designers.
This year, we are pleased to announce that three scholarships were awarded:
- Valerie Dionne, daughter of Quebec Chapter member Frederick Dionne, received $3,000 to study Physics Engineering at the Universite Laval.
- Matthew Cichon, a Wisconsin Chapter member, received $1,000 to study Architectural Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
- Zane Steindler, son of Phoenix Chapter member Scott Steindler, LEED AP, ARCSA AP (IS), GPD, GGP, FASPE, received $1,000 to study Mechanical Engineering at Glendale Community College.
Congratulations all!
