Another Free Webinar for ASPE Members Will Be Held August 30

Commercial Water Softening and Reverse Osmosis,” a new one-hour webinar on August 30 at noon CDT, will cover the basics of water chemistry, water softening, reverse osmosis (RO), and the application of these processes in commercial projects.

In the water softening segment of the webinar, you will learn about terminology and processes, resin, and responsive flow. The RO segment will discuss terminology and processes, pretreatment, recovery, rejection, and treated water storage.

Upon successful completion of this webinar, you will understand a basic water analysis, the water softening process, the criteria required to select a commercial water softener, the RO process, and the criteria required to select a commercial RO system.

About the Speakers

Taylor Armstrong, Sales & Applications Engineer with Canature WaterGroup (Commercial Industrial Engineering Division), has been working in the commercial/industrial water treatment industry for five years and is an expert in system operation, controls, and sophisticated water treatment applications. Taylor has degrees in Biology and Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.

Tyler Gamble, General Manager of Canature WaterGroup (Commercial Industrial Engineering Division), has been working in the commercial/industrial water treatment industry for eight years and has a wealth of knowledge and practice in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, and business management. Tyler has a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Dalhousie University.

Dominic Tagliafierro, U.S. Sales Engineer with Canature WaterGroup (Commercial Industrial Engineering Division), has been working in the commercial/industrial water treatment industry for 21 years and is an expert in the regulations of water treatment plants, licensed operators’ requirements, corrosion control, and filtration technology. Dominic has a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
