He started out of university with one of the earliest certification firms when \u201ccertification\u201d of medical gas systems was a concept yet to be widely accepted. He transitioned to the manufacturing sector in 1985 and since then has been involved in virtually all aspects of medical gas work, including testing and verification, regulatory advocacy, product development, marketing, and education.<\/p>\n<p>Mark is an active member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on Medical Gas and Vacuum Systems and has been involved with that Committee since the 1987 edition of NFPA 99.
