Founded in 1920 as a fuel oil handling company, Preferred Utilities designs and builds complete fuel oil handling systems, from pump sets and filtration systems to valves and leak detection. Preferred also offers boiler instrumentation and controllers, low- and ultra-low-NOx burners, renewable and biofuel burners, specialty combustion applications like waste fuel, and nuclear power plant outage reduction tools and components.
