Legionella Liability Doesn’t Stop at the Facilities Team

When a building experiences a Legionella outbreak, investigators look at who designed the system, who signed off on the water management plan, and whether anyone on the project had the training to flag the risk. Increasingly, that question lands on the plumbing engineer of record.
The ASSE 12080 Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist Certification Training is an online, instructor-led program that takes participants from risk assessment fundamentals to a complete water management and sampling plan. At the conclusion of the training, the ASSE 12080 certification exam will be administered. Passing the exam will result in becoming certified as Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist.
