Considerations to keep you out of Hot Water. This webinar will explore the sizing of water heaters and storage tanks and present a methodology to assist the designer in selecting the proper size water heater for their specific application. We will also explore the various factors impacting the selection such as hot water temperature, demand versus storage as well as demand versus flow rate. Various types of water heaters will also be discussed and their application.

J. Joe Scott, CPD is an Associate Vice President and Senior Plumbing Designer for Cannon Design in their St. Louis, Missouri office. Mr. Scott has been involved in the design and specification of plumbing systems for the past 25 years with emphasis on Healthcare, Criminal Justice, and Laboratory building types. Mr. Scott has served on numerous ASPE committees and was the Task Force Chairman for the design portion of the Domestic Water Heating Design Manual. Mr. Scott serves as the the Editor of Plumbing Systems and Design Magazine.
