ASPE member develops plumbing design calculation app

The , created by Ilya Aptekarev, EIT, of the Philadelphia Chapter, contains eight calculators, including a DFU calculator, storm drain sizer, and gas pipe sizer. On Friday, July 26, ASPE’s Chicago Chapter celebrated its 50th anniversary with a cruise on the Chicago River. The Chicago Chapter was officially chartered as the sixth ASPE Chapter on January 10, 1969.

Berkeley passes the first all-electric building mandate in the U.S.

Starting January 1, 2020, all new single-family homes, town homes, and small apartment buildings

in Berkeley, California will be banned from having gas hook-ups. Commercial buildings and larger residential structures are expected to be included after further analysis. Existing buildings will not be affected.


WQA releases its 2019 consumer opinion study
