UCLA Extension’s Advanced Plumbing Systems Design courses start September 29--enroll by September 2 to save up to 10%
Registration is open for fall courses in UCLA Extension’s Advanced Plumbing Systems Design certificate program, which is sponsored by ASPE. This fall, the following courses will be offered: Plumbing Systems I: Code and Engineering Fundamentals, Plumbing Systems II: Advanced Engineering Systems, Fire Protection for Plumbing Engineering, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and Electrical Design and Construction. The courses can be taken individually or as part of the certificate program.
Long Island Chapter reaches membership goal
The Long Island Chapter is pleased to announce that it has reached 50 members by ASPE’s 50th Anniversary, a goal the Chapter set two years ago. The Long Island Chapter remains committed to the Society’s goals for increasing membership and ensuring the Society's longevity. The Chapter is proud to be part of ASPE's great history and vows to continue growing and meeting whatever new challenges the Society may experience during its next 50 years. The Chapter’s delegation will be in Chicago and looks forward to the festivities, business, and, of course, the anniversary celebration.
Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter announces scholarship winner
On behalf of the Dallas/Ft. Engineering firm leaders are optimistic about the current business climate
More than 68% of U.S. engineering firm leaders think the current business climate is better than last year at this time, and 60.5% say their backlogs are larger now compared to last year, according to the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Engineering Business Index. However, only 40.9% believe opportunities in the public water/wastewater sector will grow during the next 12 months.
