The Presenter: Mark Tanner, CPD
Mark has spent 30 years in the consulting engineering field during which time he achieved his “Certified in Plumbing Design” designation. Mark has spent a great majority of his career designing plumbing, piping, HVAC and fire protection systems, while also managing numerous construction projects – everything from military installations on various bases around the country to various marina systems and other high-tech projects for Intel and the Biosphere 2 project in Oracle, Arizona.
In 2008, Mark made a professional career move and joined the Advanced Materials Division of The Lubrizol Corporation, a chemical company located in Northeast Ohio which makes and compounds raw materials for various products, including the innovative resins and compounds used in the production of FlowGuard®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® piping systems. Among his role as a piping systems consultant for Lubrizol, Mark provides education and training on the technical aspects of CPVC piping systems and how they may fit into various construction projects.
