There are many options available to protect pipes from freezing or maintaining flow on more viscous fluids. This webinar focuses on the different types of electric heat tracing available, the benefits of self-regulating heating cables, and how to design and optimize a complete electric heat trace system. Hear about the effects of pipe material, insulation types and thickness, and fluid material. Additionally, discussion topics include electrical requirements and national codes.

Learning objectives include:

  • Choose the right heat cable technology for the application
  • Understand how to optimize a heat trace project
  • Understand how mechanical inputs can affect the overall cost of the project Know NFPA and NEC codes which affect a heat trace system
  • Identify which parts which make up a complete heat trace system.

The Presenters: Sean McDaniel and Mark Hall
