How often do I have to recertify?
Every CPDT credential holder just recertify with 2.4 CEUs (24 contact hours) every 24 months.
Is there a way to determine if a course is acceptable for recertification?

Is the CPDT Exam open book?
No. Any applicable tables or charts are provided within the exam questions.
How much time are candidates permitted to take the CPDT Exam?
3.5 hours or 210 minutes.
When will I receive my exam results?
Within 6-8 weeks after the exam has completed candidates will receive results by mail only. ASPE members must login to aspe.org to ensure ASPE has the most accurate and up-to-date mailing address on file for you. Nonmembers must email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm this. Results are only shared via mail and will not be shared via email or over the phone.
Where are the testing centers?
Click here to find testing centers near you. Only centers that have Pearson Professional Center are in the ASPE network of test centers. You will see many others appear, but the CPDT Examination is only held at a Pearson Professional Center.
