ASPE Education Credit Certification Center
ASPE offers the opportunity for plumbing engineers and designers to earn continuing education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs) for participation in our educational programs. CEUs and PDHs are nationally recognized units of achievement that may be used as evidence of performance capabilities for job advancement. ASPE develops these programs to assist plumbing engineers, designers, and others to meet the continuing education requirements of their professional certifications.
To earn CEU/PDH credits, participants in an education program must earn a grade of 90 percent or higher on a test that covers the material presented in the program. Those who successfully pass the test can use ASPE's CEU/PDH validation system to instantly be issued an e-mail containing their credit certificate. (You must use the same e-mail address that you used to register for the program to receive the credit.)
ASPE is recognized as an approved provider and sponsor of CEUs and PDHs throughout all 50 states for registrations and licensing requirements. Specifically, we are approved as a Continuing Education Sponsor in the states of New York (NYSED Sponsor Number 7), Louisiana, North Carolina, and Florida (FL Provider #0003524; File #: 115). The remaining states do not require a specific provider to be pre-approved to issue CEU/PDH credits. It is ultimately the responsibility of the participant of each course to make sure that you are in compliance with your state's rules and guidelines.
Each type of educational course has specific deadlines for how long you have to take the corresponding test. Please refer to the specific course to determine the deadline. ASPE will issue only one CEU/PDH credit for successfully passing each course. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that you will receive the proper credit for the course.
