ASPE Seeks Member Comments on the 2012–2013 ICC Code Cycle
The International Code Council (ICC) has started the process to receive initial recommendations on code changes for the following model codes:
- International Building Code
- International Fuel Gas Code
- International Mechanical Code
- International Plumbing Code
- International Private Sewage
- Disposal Code
The ASPE Legislative Committee is requesting all ASPE members to take this opportunity to provide any comments or suggestions you might have related to I-Code changes to ASPE no later than November 5. The Committee will compile all comments received and develop an overall position for submittal prior to the ICC's January 3, 2012 deadline.
This is the time for you to register any issues you might have with the codes listed above. ASPE plays a critical role in helping organizations such as ICC develop model codes that represent sound plumbing engineering principles, and your help is critical is helping us to fulfill our role and mission.
